Good afternoon, Bulldog Families.
Due to winter weather conditions, Earle School District will remain closed on Thursday, February 20th.
We encourage everyone to stay updated by monitoring our official Facebook page, school website, ParentSquare and local news outlets for updates and information regarding re-opening.
Keep warm and stay safe! #esdbulldogs

Good evening ESD Families,
Based on the recent weather forecast a winter weather event is inevitable and is expected to start tomorrow with greatest possibility for wintry mix to begin falling around mid afternoon. Out of an abundance of caution we will be dismissing schools at 1:00 pm.
In addition, the forecast is also predicting below freezing temperatures for the next several days. The accumulation of ice on the roads accompanied with sub freezing temperatures may result in school being closed this week. We will continue to monitor this weather situation very closely and keep you informed.
Please check the district’s website and official facebook page for information and updates.

Dear Earle School District Families,
I want to take a moment to explain the decision to close school today, as I understand the impact it may have on our students and families.
Yesterday evening, the City of Earle experienced a significant water leak that required the city water department to shut off water service in order to contain the issue and make necessary repairs. Overnight, water service was restored, and based on that progress, we planned to have school today as normal.
Upon learning that the city had been placed under a boil order, out of abundance of caution I made the difficult decision to close school for the day.
As unfortunate as this situation is for our community and school system, please know that the health and well-being of our students and staff are always my top priority. We plan to be fully prepared to resume school on Tuesday, February 18, 2025.
I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and assure you that this decision was made with the best interests of our children and staff in mind. Thank you for your continued confidence and support of the Earle School District.
Sincerely,
Ryan Burgess
Superintendent
Earle School District

Good morning, ESD Families,
Due to the city of Earle currently being under a boil order, we cannot have school today. Please be reminded school is closed on Monday, February 17th, for Presidents Day. Thank you as always for your confidence and support.

Superintendent

Exciting News for the Earle Community!
Producing Outstanding People, Inc. (POP!) is thrilled to announce that we are taking steps to secure the 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21 CCLC) Grant in partnership with the Earle School District!

REMINDER: In recognition of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, ESD will be closed on Monday, January 20th. Let's take this day to reflect on his incredible legacy and the powerful message of equality, justice, and peace that he championed. #MLKday #esdbulldogs #service

Good evening, Bulldog Family!
We will be in school tomorrow per our regular schedule. You can expect bus pick ups to occur at the usual times, however our bus drivers will be operating with an abundance of caution. Please be prepared to wait a few additional minutes at the bus stop in the event it’s required to transport students safely. Although I am confident that we are good to go ahead with our plan to return, please continue to monitor your devices as we will be keeping you abreast of any and all information that may impact us returning to school tomorrow. We are eager to see our students in the morning. Thank you as always for your support of the Earle School District.

We are still dedicated to providing educational services of the highest quality to our students each and every day. Our plans to improve continue to bear fruit and this growth will continue throughout the 24-25 school year. We are prepared to continue to serve our students as has been customary since the beginning of the school year to meet their nutritional, academic and recreational needs. This has been done without fail. Your support is very important and we are greatly appreciative of your partnership. Together we are Bulldog Strong and there is no doubt about that!
